The Centenario was built to commemorate Bianchi's 100 year anniversary. This bike was the one that Bianchi displayed at the 1985 show in Milano.

This was one of the first bikes with a full Campagnolo C-Record gruppo, and many of the parts differ slightly from the 1986/1987 production components.

And this is revealed in how poor the shifting and braking is on this bike!

This 'black nickel' finish is a thin decorative coating (nickel, zinc, etc..) that is applied over a nickel underplating.

These are the so-called "prototype" Delta brakes. Here are some others:

There are conflicting histories of the early Delta brakes. The Campy Only version is that only 3 of these brakesets (or not many more than 3) exist. Another version is that 200-300 were produced but they were only sold in Europe. The 43bikes opinion is that the latter is far more likely, and that there are at least a dozen brakesets known of 'in captivity'.

Also there is at least one other Centenario with these brakes - from a German magazine:

Although I don't believe the Delta calipers are as rare as others have said, I do think these brake levers may be actual one-offs. The lever bodies only allow the cables to be routed through the handlebars; there is no channel to allow the cables to go under the handlebar tape like on the production levers.
