The Bohemian lugged stem probably required a lot more hours than the frame did. Dave Bohm made it out of 100% stainless steel. Besides the heroic effort of polishing it, the oval extension tube was a bitch to miter and fixture - much more so than the currently produced round set that's on my Bohemian track bike. Dave said he made only a short run of the oval, full-stainless stems, and that he would be reluctant to build any others.
