coupler-nuts_jam-nuts

the inspiration came from Marty Eden.. a guy I emailed who was very nice and helpful. He welds coupler nuts (a long nut from the hardware store w/ an end that's a hex nut) on the axles both front and rear. Marty uses round stock + a washer for dropouts. Also a nice chrome cap thats 25 cents. I wonder if a hollow axle ends up being stronger, also can you take the locknuts off? Anyway I didn't use his idea but might sorta use it on another bike, except w/ a U-brake boss.
